Niklas Karlsson wants to take the carved and axed surfaces back into the woodwork and also back into the everyday life utility items.
His kitchen-sets are made in a small studio in Ljusdal, with nothing but a few simple handtools.
The surface is carved and not sanded, which ,means that the kitchen utensils will not get any raised grain when they get wet. They also get a nicer patina.
They are treated with pure linseed oil without additives.

Useful information about delivery and returns
ahardslojdlife is a small one man craft company. The packing and shipping of sold items in the online store is often made on the same day as the order comes in. There might, however, be exceptions where I am away. In those cases I will notify you of the shipping date.
The shipments are sent by mail and trackable so you will receive a notification from the shippingcompany when your order is shipped.
If you are dissatisfied with an item, please let me know. I always accept returns. If an item should be faulty I replace it.
