The cooking spoons are made for cooking and serving. The straight edge of the blade is useful in pots and pans. The handle is thin to allow a variety of grips.
The surface is carved instead of sanded. This prevents raised grains when the wood gets wet. The carved surface also gives a very nice patina.
Care:
Handwash is recommended for the best patina. The spoons can be washed in a dishwasher but the wood gets bleeched and white.
The spoon is treated with linseed oil without additives. Linseed oil penetrates the wood and hardens without leaving a film on the surface. No extra oiling is necessary but can be done if the wood has become dull and dry. Use cooking oil like olive oil or off course linseed oil.
Do not soak the spoon for a long time.
